It has been one year since Shelly and I returned
from our sailing trip in the US Virgin Islands.
After our first full day of sailing we anchored our
32' Beneteau in 12' of beautiful blue water.
The place was Coral Bay the SW corner of St. John.
Ships of the past would wait out hurricanes there.
A well protected bay about 2.5 NM long.
That evening we took our dingy to town,
tied up at an open air tavern, and hiked around the small village.
A small grocery to provision from, some homes, a school
and touristy shops. Then the wonderful smell hit me!
Grilled meat!!!, In a Open air tavern/ restaurant was my first
Cheeseburger in Paradise! I know what you mean now, Jimmy Buffet.
The place, (Skinny Legs) The food wonderful!!
So if you ever get to St. John and you're hungry,
There's this place......
